Tallaght Person of the Year 2023

A little about our winner...

Our 2023/24 Tallaght Person of the Year is Nico Crowley. Nico is an Old Bawn native, with strong Tallaght family lineage. He is a positive guy and role model. Nico has a wide range of interests and participation in Tallaght activities. He is a strong GAA man and has been a member of Thomas Davis GAA Club for many decades.

Nico is an avid runner, running back-to-back marathons to fundraise for many local campaigns such as Suzanne House, Footsteps for Leah, Aoibheann’s Pink Tie and others. He is a football coach with Tallaght Town FC, giving of his time weekly to help the next generation of sports people in Tallaght. Nico is also a keen singer and stage performer; he treads the boards every year with the Now and Then Production Company.

Nico is a driver whose passengers include many nursing home clients. He has been known to entertain his passengers enroute by bursting into some of the golden oldie tunes to put his passengers at ease.
